[plug] Config utility for x?

Thanks to Bill and Sacha. With your help I got there in the end, and the 
results are definitely worth it. I've been using an old (and I mean old :) 
15" monitor with 800x600 resolution and plenty of lines/shadows etc. I'm now 
seeing KDE in 1024x768 on a new 17" for the first time in my life, and it 
looks pretty darn good! Gives old Gatesy a run for his money I reckon. Thanks 
again.
