Not given the information you've posted thus far.  Perhaps it's a weird
DHCP problem?  Potentially useful information might include:

- contents of /etc/network/interfaces and Redhat equivalents thereof
- interesting bits of the output from ifconfig, arp and route on each machine

preferably from /before/ everything started working again.
