I've just tried www.slpwa.asn.au/events and slpwa.asn.au/events on both
Firefox 1.0 on sarge and ancient Mozilla Debian Package 1.0.0-0.woody.1
and it works on both.

It's an odd one. What browser are you trying to use ?
