[plug] old age nonpensioner seeks mind mapper

A friend (ie - me) is looking for a note-taking, mind mapping tool -
I've looked at FreeMind, but it's not exactly what I want.

I seem to remember a package called something like Tomcat, but by mind
is as empty as a polly's promises.

Any ideas?
