Wireguard is pretty simple to setup. The link is bidirectional, so connect out to your VPS with a static IP, and forward the desired traffic back through.
You could use Tailscale or something similar if you’re not familiar with routing etc. The free tier handles up to 3 users and 100 devices.

Doesn't your ISP have the option of a public routable IP address?
I use Exetel, which is NATed by default.,but you can request not to be NATed (for free), and although my IP address is not fixed, it is public, so I just use a DynamicDNS service on top of that.

Hi all,
For some time I have been researching options to host a website and email behind CGNAT. Cloudflare tunnels seemed to address the website nicely, but doesn’t support SMTP etc.
Hosting a VPS and directing traffic over a VPN is another option. Any recommendations ?
Ideally I am not looking to spend a lot of money on this as it is only for my home lab.
Much appreciate any guidance and advise.
Kind regards
Alex
