[plug] Need some help

Good day sir!

I live south of the river myself so Joondalup is a bit far for me.

PLUG have events for people to come along and bring their laptops if that
helps. Maybe visit the webpage for the calendar

An alternative might be to try a different distro. Bear in mind that mint
is Ubuntu based. Perhaps your mint version is based off an older Ubuntu and
trying a newer Ubuntu would yield a better result? Not sure.
