<p>That is what I have been doing for many years and may yet do
again. My son however lives in Canberra and works from home so
does not have access to whatever spare laptops might be piled
somewhere in the corporate headoffice in the USA. As for my own
workplace, things are a bit tight here (16 member marketing P/L in
Leederville) and I haven't seen a spare laptop for a very long
time.</p>

know you seem to suggest you want to get a new machine instead
