Can you confirm that the alsa problem was only on the one machine?

Eg amidi -l reports a bad config file

But... we had this issue on Euan's laptop, and Nicks laptop, and Av2... not just the two ingest workstations.....

Also, new Av2 box (for running DVswitch) now due in tomorrow.
