Yep EotW is happy to take on responsibility for replacing any
equipment that is lost/broken/stolen.

I'd spoken to Leon about it some time ago previously and we had a
meeting where we discussed how it could work. (This was preliminary
and I was meant to raise it with av afterwards.)  Since then what the
conference actually is has changed a number of times, with it looking
like the event would be cancelled at the time of the last plug event.

In addition to the speakers in Perth event, there will be speakers
around Australia using Hangouts on Air, and for simplicity I was
planning on passing the output of dvswitch to hangouts on air.

Only 4 or 5 talks would be getting captured using plugs equipment each
day (so about 10 total).

Ps. I wasn't planning on talking about poor registrations on a public
mailing list so I'd prefer to either;
  send a fresh message to the av list,
  or if you want to send that message could you please omit that point,
