[PLUG-AV] [plug-ctte] Fwd: EotW streaming http://www.eotw.com.au/ 2015

Hi

It's not 100% clear to me how the committee can resolve this. Are we trying
to do some kind of urgent vote? I can see merit in both sides of the
decision and I don't think I have enough information to support either side.

Idealistically, it would be nice to enable people who want to do things for
the community to do those things. If Luke takes responsibility for the
practical issues for EotW and can convince one other AV member to help, I
certainly won't stand in his way.

PLUG receives at least two requests for help with av streaming per year
(with various amounts of notice and from various sources), so it seems like
we do need to find a better way to handle these requests.

Do we have an up-to-date inventory of equipment? Do we have insurance (not
saying we should or shouldn't)? Whomever makes decisions about AV gear
should at least know these things...
