Ah. I did not check this. Maybe this was Guy's reason for caution. He has to
work these bands for large productions say 40 wireless mikes on performers etc.
Your notes above don't show an overlap with AU frequencies. I will email them
now to get a list of the 50 available frequencies on the mics and if we can
select a channel rather than the advertised "Random adjustment of 50 frequency
channels. Automatic frequency matching between microphone and receiver. Fast
and accurate".

Yes. If the RPi can handle that as a USB load then I had considered a mixer
and RPi "node".

I'm flexible but let us check if frequencies are ok beforehand. If no good,
then a $40 one without wireless mics would be a more appropriate starting point.
