[off-topic] ADSL2 and RIMs

Hi all, 

I am the unfortunate "victim" of a Telstra "conspiracy". I live in
Clarkson and cannot get ADSL2 - it appears I am on a RIM. I cannot even
get Naked ADSL as advertised by my ISP's parent company ...

The speeds I get are crappy, but they suffice - any ideas on how to
lower my phone bill as well then, since I use Telstra as my phone
provider?
