        I've been trying to turn it *ON* for ages, if this works,
("xset dpms", it does give "DPMS is Enabled") then you get 1 FREE led cpu   
monitor! (basic proto model, you've seen already :-)

      
        What config file does this affect? I looked in my XF86config,
but it doesnt seem to be there ?
        I want to make the change permanent.
