Not necessarily. I have very bad memories of Linux Journal from a couple of
years ago in the UK when a number of UK subscriptions were not honoured by
the publishers, and subscribers were caught in a 'flame war' between
publisher and distributor. In the end the distributor gave me an apology
and a refund, SSC gave me a hard time.

I tend not to take LJ too seriously these days.
