Not to me either, Linux is too big to know "it all", with too many diverse
areas (who runs an embedded design environment on their Linux box here,
apart from me? with PIC programmer, running thru dosemu on a parallel
port)

Me too!

I'd be one of the first to go :-(

I was one of the first plug members, and I put in the effort, apart from
the desire to meet other Linuxers, to also help newbies, and spread the
word. Newbies in my opinion, are struggling to get their sys to work, and
tend to forget rules!

I often have a IRC session open, with Tony Cooper (remember him? he had
the FIRST plug meeting at his unit in Bentley) and a couple of other
Linuxers, in other states, its #worldchat on Omen, drop in you newbies,
( and old timers :-) and ask away. Look for Joe, GuruBonz, and tp

Ditto.
PLUG has come and gone a few times in Perth now, was the introduction of
RULES, one of the things that has killed off interest in the past????
I know this thread is killing off my interest, and in itself is causing
what I call "Noise".

Didn't Adolph Hitler and the Nazi's have a lot of rules? ;-)
