The Qube is a really neat little Blue cube running Linux & Apache on a
MIPS (if I recall correctly) processor , and have a web-based managing
system that makes it easy for non-linux people to administer it. It's
built by Cobalt Micro, who have the famous David S. Miller on their staff.
(DaveM is the guy who runs the linux-kernel mailing list, and who is
responsible for many of the major networking changes, and one of the main
contributers of the Sparc/Linux port - he's also the guy that runs "that
sparc" - the one with 14 processors which Gavin posted a dmesg output to
the list of)

The Netwinder is an equally cool little machine, made by Corel (of
CorelDraw and WordPerfect fame) based on the StrongARM processor and
available in several differnet flavours - info on the LC version (and
others, linked from there) available at:

I want a netwinder :)
Unfortunately I don't know of anyone in Perth that sells either of the
two systems.. Perhaps one of our local Computer Shop/Linux specialists can
set up a deal with Cobalt/Corel (Garth? Brad?)

- Matt
