This is very kind but if people who'd normally catch the train wish (or
need) to leave earlier than you then it inconveniences someone.  Central is
still best.

I agree with Greg's assessment:

In my NSHO, given uncertainty of venue at such a late stage, it is only
fair that:
a) The meeting be somewhere CBDish for those who end up at the wrong spot.
