Hi all,

No, the FreeBSD won't work... well, it may, but not as good as the Linux
native version. Available at

http://www.blackdown.org/java-linux.html

This is the home of everything Java for Linux.
Also don't forget to check www.javasoft.com regularly for
Java code and classes to run once you have Java support
working under Linux.

You should also be able to configure your system so that you
can execute Java "binaries" from the command prompt just like
a real Linux executable.

Cheers,

Colin
