I have a java compiler an order of magnitude faster than Sun's and there
are several java addons there too (and the docs are better than sun's too).

O and there's a GUI debugger there too.

 Does require a kernel rebuild tho.

 It's actually a hack: it still involves running the java script to run the
 java runtime. It's sort-of neat, but can't be any more efficient than
 saying:
 java fred
 The kernel support requires (at least)
 fred.class
 which isn't shorter.
