I utterly bogged a Windows box (P-233) this morning trying to run 3xFTP
client sessions over a 10Mb/s UTP (ethernet) link. Netscape took about 5
minutes to start! The ancient P-90 across the room, running Linux, turns
the card's network-activity light hard on under the same circumstances
and NS takes about 10 extra seconds at the testing-DNS-function step,
but otherwise it doesn't notice the load.
