Oh, I don't now. Had I the space in my cabinit, i could attach hde & hdf 
to my SB16's IDE port. In fact, one used to be there (when Linux only 
knoew IDE0).

With a second SB16 I could have hdg & hdh as well.

Perhaps Phil's sound card is playing up?
