As Greg says, you obviously have no clue what "free software" means. 
Anyway, if you feel like this, why use Linux?  Why not Solaris or one of
the BSDs?  I imagine it must be very difficult for you to understand the
mindset of the people who's software you use since they are, from your 
perspective at least, throwing their rights away.
