[plug] Linux fails the high-end test

I have also received multiple copies of this, and two other messages that
were posted.

Is (or was) something wrong with the mailing list distribution?

I assume that, because it appeared that it didn't happen from a message from
only a single source, that the fault did not originate from the senders.
