Hey, I'm involved in a project that has finaly produced some product.
You might remember 'Altima' being announced a while back, on slashdot.
It's basicaly an Ultima-like RPG, though the game engine is far more
complex, and much better thought out IMHO. They renamed the project
"Worldforge", for various reasons.

Anyway, the demo is up and running. It's very bare bones at the moment,
and certainly not 'playable'. However, you can explore the world, chat,
and so forth. If anyone is an avid RPGer/MUDer, and interested in a
development project, go have a look.
