True the only things I have tried are Hard drives... but I doubt there
would be problems with all the devices you would want to plug in, so
there is a good chance you could leave the problem devices on the normal
IDE chains... 

Anyway, I agree it would probably be worthwhile seeing if there have
been any problems with the devices you are trying and the UDMA/66
chipset you are intending on getting...
