Hello,

Following the HOWTO, I have setup a bogus domain for my LAN.
Everything works fine, except "nslookup" for my domain.

Here is a sample,
===============================================
> umich.edu
Server:  localhost
Address:  127.0.0.1

Non-authoritative answer:
Name:    umich.edu
Addresses:  141.211.83.36, 141.211.83.42, 141.211.83.39

> trynix.com
Server:  localhost
Address:  127.0.0.1

*** localhost can't find lynix.com: Server failed
> ns1
Server:  localhost
Address:  127.0.0.1

Non-authoritative answer:
Name:    ns1.trynix.com
Address:  10.0.0.15

===============================================

The domain "trynix.com" is a bogus domainname for my LAN.
During the nslookup, if I ask for trynix.com, I do not get anything.
If I ask for a specific hostname, I do get the IP address. I do have
the reverse lookup working fine.

For the real world domain names, such as CNN.COM, UMICH.EDU or
TIME.COM (and on and on), I do get the address of a host. When I put in
my domain TRYNIX.COM,  I get
"localhost can't find trynix.com: Server failed"

Why is this happening? How do I make nslookup find my own bogus domain?

Thank you in advance for any solution.
