Yes..
Set them up (assuming Redhat) /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-***

*** = eth0:0 or eth0:1 

just copy the eth0 file and edit the information within.

you should bw able to bring them up with ifup (interface name) and
ifdown (interface name)
