[plug] Hello - Linux and proxy server

Hi all

Thanks to Ian for your reply I gather now I have subscribed to the list I am
a member of PLUG.

Unfortunatley because of location I will not get to many meetings but hope
to be able to follow happenings via this group.

Would  appreciate some advice on problem with my ISP.  They recently made
some changes to their system and I can no longer access http addresses via
netscape . I am running RedHat 5.1
Netscape 4.05.
The rest, mail, news etc works fine.
They advise I must be able to set proxy in the browser.  If so I can't find
it.   Any one encountered this before? Have tried all the how tos and FAQ's.
