When I used to do entirely NT I was frustrated no end. I'm afraid that I
listened to the MS propaganda too much and started to believe it... It was
just about to fork out for (yet another) ms course (I was aiming for
certification) and they cost a fortune. I started reading a bit about Linux
in places like Network World.

Just then I was talking to a business associate who is an ISP. He was
telling how they scrapped their NT machines because of the maintainance
headaches. I thought I might give Linux a go, not really expecting much,
but I thought it would at least allow for a cheap router on an old machine.

Well!!! I never turned back! I was so impressed with Linux that it has (in
the last year) become the main trust of my business. Sure, I had a steep
learning curve (do you know of anyone else who has read the entire Linux
Undercover book from cover to cover?) but I 'm getting a good grip on it
now. I haven't installed an NT system since Feb last year and see no reason
to anymore.

My customers see my enthusiasm for linux and it is catching. They always go
for Linux.

And yes David, I get heaps more referals now for it.

Regards,

Rob Hall
