      ==========================================

It is the intention of Project: Computer Bank to collect and then
redistribute computer hardware to people who otherwise can not afford the
entry costs associated with computing. Typically these people may be
community groups or people on low incomes (family and individuals).

It is anticipated that donations of computer hardware will come from the
corporate and government sectors. It is hoped that such an initiative will
be supported fully by these organisations.

It is also hoped that such a project is undertaken simultaneously in other
states across Australia.

Project: Computer bank considers that the installation of GNU/Linux to be
paramount for successful outcomes on limited capacity hardware. GNU/Linux
is scalable enough to run very efficiently on 386+ systems.

We are looking for expressions of interest from anyone willing to help
