[plug] Another LILO issue, any ideas.

For my sins I am called upon to run many strange and unusual programs under
my multi-booted box (95,98, NT, RH5.2). Many of the utilities i work with
aren't all that careful about preserving non-standard (ie non Microsoft
)boot sectors, thus LILO often disapears into the ether. 

Apart from having a boot floppy with a current LILO file, is there another
way to preserve/and or rewrite the MBR?
