I gave a course (not related to linux) a couple of years ago. I was paid
$600 per day for classroom time.
My course preparation was unpaid - I had to familiarise myself with the
course itself: knowing the subject is necessary but insufficient.
tbli Don't expect a professional course to be cheap. However, from the
employer's point of view, there IS a good return in improved productivity:
no sensible employer would want staff to sit around and muddle through
things.
