Hold down the stop button on the keyboard, and press "A"
This button combination works at any time, and can be used to temporarily
interrupt a running OS

You'll probably have to do this anyway, since the classic Xterm's (as
opposed to the classic's) don't have their own HDDs, so you have to
netboot it. That's fairly easy though, so long as the RAM in the classic
is still ok.. Jamie had a problem with his until he pulled some of the
RAM, and I've got 2 Classics (with
the HDD's) and one of them works fine, but the other refuses to net boot
(or even boot linux from floppy) and I suspect the RAM in this one too.
I would recommend having a look at the Debian sparc install information
(found in /slink/main/disks-sparc/current/install.txt) which tells you how
to set up rarp and tftp.. piece of cake, and rarp support is a kernel
module so you don't even have to reboot. :)
