SiS 5597, I got it working using SuSe driver XFCom_SiS and changing the
symbilic link X in /etc/X11 to point to this driver in /usr/X11R6/bin, but
left the link X->Xwrapper untouched and it worked, however none of the
Xconfigurators would show this driver as an option.

However at the moment when I use another resolution or OS I have a very
distorted display I hoped the new drivers might fix this

You're right I will chase up a 5.2 version (or get RH6.0)
