[plug] X/SiS 6326

Has anyone run X on a SIS 6326 video card?  I'm running RH5.2 and have
installed XF86 3.3.3, but I've obviously slipped up some where. On
startx the screen goes grey but never moves on to the blue Xwindow
background.  ALT-CTRL-NUM+/- changes the resolution and mouse indicator
(big white square) trackes mouse movements but otherwise nothing
responds.  The reset button is the only escape.  I'd appreciate if
someone could point the error of my ways.
