*grin* The recommended system requirements make StarOffice 5.0 look lean!
If you've got the cash for the upgraded PC, go for it.

Otherwise, I can't help suspecting you'd be better off plonking Win95
onto a spare ancient 486DX2/Pentium 80 sans monitor and installing the
Windows VNC server. Install your X VNC viewer on your Linux box and you've
got much the same result without having to upgrade to 128M RAM and a
high-order Pentium II.

That said, if VMWare lets you cut-and-paste somehow between the Windows
and the Linux portions ... :).
