Server or

SCO started as a separate implementor of Unix.
Then MS got out of the market and SCO bought xenix from MS and
(presumably0 merged them.

Unixware I *think* is Novell. Novell had the
problem that its software wasn't friendly to user's software and I
gather it moved towards Unix.

Reading between the lines it looks as though SCO
will gradually reduce support for OpenServer and focus more on UnixWare.
It's crazy carrying two versions of UNIX from one supplier.

OpenServer contains a lot of old XENIX code
under license from Micro$oft. The UnixWare kernel evolved from Novell's
UNIX implementation that they bought from someone else. It is supposed
to be much better!!
