Do you have Gnome installed on your system? As, I'm assuming, GICQ is a
Gnome-based ICQ client, you need to have Gnome installed. If not, I
recommend you either install it or get a hold of a plain old X ICQ client.
I use LICQ at home as it comes with the distribution I'm currently trying
(Mandrake), and works nicely under XFree86 3.3.1 and WindowMaker.
Alternatively, you may want to check your /etc/ld.so.conf (I think) file to
make sure that the path to your Gnome lib/header files is in there. I could
be wrong about this one, though, as I've never seen/used Gnome. :)
