Make a group called audio if it doesn't already exist
Add the users to this group
eg: my /etc/group contains the line:

audio:*:29:kemner,zombie,assassin

Then run chgrp audio /dev/dsp and chmod 660 /dev/dsp

Then provide a large selection of sound clips that your friends can play
at you when you're not responding to their ytalk requests. :)
