[plug] another install

very strange, I did another install this time using another Red Hat 6 cd that
came with a book I brought "Harold Davis Red Hat Linux 6" all the connection
problems and applications locking up on me have gone. I did the install exactly
the same as the one I did with the cd that came with the pocket book.
a bit weird, but Im happy.
