I had it in 2.3.22
Umm, but it was on a laptop. In my case it was caused by having pcmcia
compiled in. And maybe apm, I can't remember.
Anyway, after  disabling those two, it kind of chugged away..

On the subject of kernels.
IRQ/DMA Timeouts on sound cards?
I lose about 100msec of sound, randomly, maybe 2-4 times in a two hour
period. Bloody annoying when your using your linux box to DJ with..
Happens under 2.2.x and 2.3.x but not under 2.0.x.
I get the usual IRQ/DMA timeout message to the console when it happens..

Anyone have similar experience ?
