Actually I'd expect it to be 24.192.48.1 :) (which according to your
netmask of 255.255.252.0 is a local address for 24.192.51.171, so that
sounds correct)

That's got me stumped.
You haven't got DHCP or similar configured that could be adding routes on
the fly?

Can you do a traceroute from the Sat Box?

btw where are you tracing to?
