[plug] loopback install

Hi all,
    I once did an install that booted off a file as a loopback device.  I
don't (think) I have that Cd handy anymore, but do have SuSE 6.0, pocket
book, and pocket book revised edition.

  Anyone got some pointers?  Basicly it so I can install a Linux system
without re-partitioning; just need a temp system on a borrowed computer.  I
have aprox 800M of space on a vfat drive spare.
