[plug] recommendations for new high end system (dual cpu)

Im getting a new system for work which is going to be running linux
primarily and NT via vmware. Ive read good things about the new AMD
processor but I dont really know much about CPU internals. 

RAM will be 128, disk will be ide but a fast wide scsi adaptor is also
needed. Any bad experiance with scsi built in to motherboard? Any
recomendations for the video card (nothing too fancy needed)

Im most concerned with reliablity and devices being supported by linux.
