sulogin isn't a panacea, sure - but in many circumstances it helps a
lot. If you disable the floppy (unplug it or remove it or even just
disable booting it in the BIOS) then you can always chain the box to the
desk (take a look in your average uni computer lab for what is quite a
serviceable solution). Of course, if you leave the computer in a public
place not properly physically secured then the last thing you're going
to be worried about is someone rebooting into the single-user mode...
Hence, in a realistic situation, sulogin isn't all that bad.
