Check that the length is right, and try typing "file filename" to see if
it has a recognisable signature. If the length is just a little bit
wrong, and/or the file command doesn't recognise it, perhaps you
downloaded it in ASCII mode, in which case delete it and start again,
being sure to do a binary xfer (wget seems to always get it right). It's
also possible, if you started downloading it from one place and finished
from another, that you have parts of two different files (use previous
remedy).
