[plug] Kernel 2.2.12

G'day all, 
just upgraded to 2.2.12, and my boot parameter "hdd=none" has 
ceased to function..
Gives me
ide_setup: hdd=none, -- BAD OPTION
It worked with 2.2.11 and previous..
another undocumented feature I missed ?

Also, is there a page somewhere that keeps track of the changes
in each kernel.. ?
Richard Gooch used to keep one, but it has not been updated since
2.2.9..
Otherwise, the only way to do it is wade thru the linux-kernel
archives..
