Also don't neglect exim, which is more-or-less the latest incarnation
of smail, which was the Linux MTA of choice for a while there.

In fact, you only need fetchmail.  What I understand you are saying is
that your ISP has set you up with a number of aliases at its end. 
Therefore, you don't even need a mail server at your end at all.

Strictly speaking, IMAP gives you the option.
