Hi list,
I have upgraded to RedHat 6.0 and now I cant
mount my cdroms
lycra >mount /mnt/cdrom2
mount: the kernel does not recognize /dev/sr1 as a block device
(maybe `insmod driver'?)
lycra >mount /mnt/cdrom
mount: the kernel does not recognize /dev/cdrom as a block device
(maybe `insmod driver'?)
what should I do? Arn't modules supposed to be mounted automatically.
I have just realized that I dont have kerneld running.
ps -ef |grep kerneld
dunne 13664 13205 0 20:28 pts/6 00:00:00 grep kerneld
Do I need to recompile the kernal with module support -- or
have I made a mess of the upgrading ??
Sorry for what must seem a very easy question to this list

Java has certainly revolutionized marketing and litigation.
