I didn't mean that the above patch was simple. It isn't. What I meant was
that it is simple to patch your average smtp or pop daemon to put mail
spools wherever suits you. The trickiest bit is the uid/gid stuff, which
is necessary when other users want to access their spools with other
programs, but since the users don't exist in this case, that logic can
be pretty much expunged.
